OUR Kids.

OUR Commitment.

At Minds On Learning, we are making a commitment to foster kids through their entire educational careers. Not just homework help. Not just tutoring. But a comprehensive program of educational well being for the whole child. Their journey is our journey. Their success is our success.

To that end, we currently provide students with the following services….

Study Squad

Elementary & Middle School Students
Nationwide • Monday – Thursday

Led by our “Study Captains”, Study Squad is a free, online, afterschool Study Hall environment where participating students can receive homework help, instruction and guidance from a qualified instructor.

Not unlike a gym membership, once children are registered, they receive a secure link to “drop in” whenever they wish. They can participate as much or as little as they need. We’ve found that some children just like being in the Study Squad while doing their homework for the company and comfort of having a teacher nearby.

SMART TeamAdditional, Real-Time Peer-To-Peer Help

Our unique SMART Team program gives exceptional high school students and college undergrads the chance to provide academic mentorship to our students in middle and elementary school.

Working in a “break out” room within our Study Squad format, these accomplished scholars provide 1-on-1 instruction as peer tutors while acting as positive role models for success in school. We find the relationship that develops to be a win-win for both our younger members and those who provide this invaluable service.

Academic Coaching

Sometimes students need more help than can be reasonably provided in Study Squad. For these situations, Minds On Learning provides additional academic coaching in the form of 1-on-1, online tutoring and subject specific coaching for individual or small groups of students.

Students enrolled in Study Squad will have the opportunity to book tutoring sessions to follow up on work from Study Squad.

Additionally, coaching includes help with organizational, executive function, and basic study skills.

Academic Counseling

  • Student Well-Being
  • Academic Planning
  • Identification of Learning Differences
  • Intervention Management

Elementary and Middle School is where students learn how to learn. It’s where they acquire the academic skills and form habits that will last through high school, college and beyond. Early guidance and possible intervention is key to a smooth and successful academic career. Working with students, parents and teachers, in a combined effort, keeps kids on the road to success.
